Nach dem Tod von Yûs (Takahiro Nishijima) Mutter fand sein Vater Tetsu (Atsuro Watabe) zu Gott und arbeitet seitdem als Priester. Kurz vor ihrem Tod bat sie Yû darum, dass er sich seine "Maria" aussuchen und sie ihr eines Tages vorstellen solle. Deshalb ist er nun auf der Suche nach einer geeigneten Freundin, doch keine gefiel ihm bisher. Das geht soweit, dass er bisher noch nie eine Erektion bekam. Als sein Vater mit Kaori (Makiko Watanabe) zusammenkommt, halten sie die Beziehung vorerst geheim, bis sie aber von Kaoris Seite aus beendet wird. Daraufhin ändert sich das Erscheinungsbild von Yûs Vater: er wird aggressiv und zwingt Yû jeden Tag zur Beichte. Anfangs von Tetsus neuem Verhalten erschreckt legt Yû es mit der Zeit darauf an, Sünden zu begehen, damit er seinem Vater etwas beichten kann. Dafür nimmt er Unterricht bei einem Meister des "Höschenfotografierens". Dort lernt er, wie er unbemerkt Mädchen unter dem Rock fotografieren kann, wenn sie in der Stadt an ihm vorbeigehen.
