Familienvater Dover fasst daraufhin einen folgenschweren Entschluss: Er will die Wahrheit auf eigene Faust herausfinden und begibt sich auf einen verhängnisvollen und gnadenlosen Weg der Selbstjustiz um die beiden kleinen Mädchen vielleicht doch noch zu finden.
